Romance in Budapest – Happy Valentine’s Day

Romance is the most beautiful part of our lives, so we should celebrate it in a unique way. Here are some tips to make this day memorable. If this day was not enough to try all these programmes, don’t worry, you have 364 other days to show your loved one how important she or he is for you.

La joie de vivre – Gerlóczy Café & Brasserie

A romantic French bistro style restaurant in the heart of the city with stylish boutique rooms above the cafe. (NB: you might catch a blink of Jeremy Irons as this is his favourite place to stay when he is town.) The first batch of fresh croissants arrive at 8 a.m. for the opening, have it with butter or jam with a cup of freshly brewed coffee. Or enjoy their home-made páté, crunchy Viennese sausage and on-site freshly baked bread. When the weather gets milder, enjoy the sunshine outside and stay for the whole day enjoying the “la joie de vivre”.
