VinCE Budapest Wine Show is celebrating its 10 years’ anniversary

The most prestigious wine event of Central Eastern Europe, VinCE Budapest Wine Show is celebrating its 10 years’ anniversary in Buda’s Castle Garden Bazaar between 25 and 27 April. The event will feature high quality Hungarian and foreign wines and at the same time it will showcase spirits from all around the world.

Almost 1000 wines from 200 exhibitors many of them from remarkable Hungarian wineries will be presented during this special edition, where besides tasting and some culinary delights, wine lovers and experts can enjoy over 20-masterclass and workshops led by domestic and international experts.

As its 10th anniversary VinCE Budapest offers an exquisite program, mornings start with a glass of refreshing bubbly, later on visitors can participate in some blind tasting to test if there are any worthwhile competitors to a fine champagne. There will be wine talks, famous wine producers such as István Szepsy and Mihály Figula will talk about the special qualities of some Hungarian vineyards focusing on the Furmint and the Welschriesling grapes among others.

Besides enjoying the most remarkable wines among the walls of the Castle Garden Bazaar, a 19th century attraction at the foot of the Royal Palace at Buda, this event is a great opportunity for networking due to its wide range of exhibitors, Hungarian and international leaders and decision makers.

For the ones, who cannot attend the event or simply want to enjoy a few more glasses, Budapest offers more and more wine bars and restaurants from fancy ones to cosier places.


Doblo Wine Bar

Doblo Wine Bar, Located at the now busy party district, once Jewish Quarter of Budapest, is a lively wine bar, where jazz musicians jam plus a bottle take-away service is offered in case you decide to enjoy the last sips of your wine back home with your partner.

Kadarka Wine Bar

Another option in the 7th district to taste mainly Hungarian wines from small vineries is Kadarka Wine Bar, a bar, where everyone is welcome.

Drop Shop Wine Bar

If you are visiting the Parliament or just walking nearby and fancying a glass of wine, you can pop into Drop Shop Wine Bar, where not only you can taste high quality wines from all around the world but they offer some tasty tapas, such as cured ham and cheese. They also have a web shop, if you tasted something extraordinary you can easily buy it later online.

St. Andrea Wine Restaurant

In case you want more than just a bite, the Michelin starred St. Andrea Wine Restaurant offers exquisite dishes paired with fine wines. It is located in the prominent building of Eiffel Palace, if you want to impress someone this is one place to go.

Bock Bistro

If you want to try Hungarian – inspired dishes fused with Spanish tapas, Bock Bistro, located in the impressive building of Corinthia Hotel Budapest, specialises in it. Famous for its outstanding wine list and friendly atmosphere, Bock Bistro is popular among both locals and travellers for its delicious food and friendly atmosphere.
