The 29th Budapest Wine Festival opens today

The 29th Budapest Wine Festival opens its stalls for the wine lovers today. The event will be held between 10th and 13th of September at its usual and magnificent venue, the Buda Castle – Hunyadi Courtyard. There will be hundreds of exhibitors with fine and premium wines, gastronomy and good atmosphere with live music and concerts awaiting guests.

This year, there are a limited number of tickets available and you need to purchase them in advance. Afternoon and Sunday tickets cost 8500 HUF and grant entry between 2 pm and 6 pm, on Sunday between 11 am to 8 pm, while evening tickets cost 11900 HUF and are valid between 7pm and 0 am. Each ticket includes an exclusive glass, a surprise wine tasting and free entry to next year’s Budapest Wine Festival. With your ticket purchase you support the sustainability of the festival.

The festival is cashless; hence you can only use a FestiPay festival card (available at the venue) or your contactless bank card.
