Expressionist bath, familiar atmosphere. The architectural plan for the public bath in Dandár street was prepared by Ferenc K. Császár. The Bath was commissioned in 1930, then transformed in 1936. During World War II the Bath was only slightly damaged so it was able to reopen in 1945. Originally, the Bath operated as a sanitary bath, with 15 adult and 15 children baths. In 1978, however, following a thorough reconstruction, it was put in operation as a thermal bath. Since 2015 it gets its water from own pump, with thermal water similar to Gellért Bath’s water. Recharge is guaranteed at the leisure pools of the bath (around the 36 oC and 38 oC) with waist and back massagers and neck showers. In additional, a classic Finnish sauna for 12 people, an aroma steam cabin, a cold-water plunge pool and a relaxation area with sun loungers ensure wellness experience for those who seek a perfect relax program.
