Sightseeing Cruise on the Danube – EUrama quality sightseeing tours

Get acquainted with the highlights of our capital city from the Danube. Your sightseeing cruise begins at Vigadó Square dock no.6 MAHART Terminal, where you’ll board the boat for the hour-long cruise. An audio guide is available on board, in both English and German and other (in total 12) languages. There is 1 stopover during the cruise at Margaret Island, and you can get off to see the sights of the city, taking your time, as your ticket is valid for 24 hours. You’ll pass by the imposing building of the Parliament as you cruise along the Danube River, and you’ll enjoy panoramic views of Margaret Island as well. See the attractions of Castle District, including the Royal Castle, the Matthias Church, and the Fisherman’s Bastion. On Gellért Hill you’ll see the Liberty Monument and the Citadel. The tour continues in a southerly direction, and you’ll have views of the bridges of Budapest, the National Theater, and the Palace of Arts. On the return cruise you’ll see universities of Budapest and the Central Market Hall, before the tour ends back at Vigadó Square, in the city center.

Departure Place: Vigado Sqr.: Dock 6.

In case of extreme water level (too high or too low) the tour will be canceled.
