NEW YEAR’S EVE GALA CONCERT BY THE BERLIN PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA / URÁNIA CINEMA The Hungarian capital also has something to offer classical music fans even on New Year’s Eve. The Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra’s concert will be conducted by an old friend of the orchestra’s, Daniel Barenboim, who will not only take the baton but also perform as a soloist in one of Mozart’s brilliant musical works, the Piano Concerto No. 26 in D Major. The orchestra will also perform four famous pieces by the amazingly stylish composer Maurice Ravel. +1 PRE-NYE PARTY – KOLLEKTIV TURMSTRASSE / AKVÁRIUM KLUB Also worthy of note is the German double act, Kollektiv Turmstrasse’s pre-New Year’s Eve party.
