In Budapest, a concert is given at Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music to celebrate the day. EUROPE DAY / 12 May, SZABADSÁG TÉR Free concerts, information on the EU, various programmes for families and children, creative workshops, quizzes, and games await visitors at Europe Day, organized at Szabadság tér, on 12 May. TATTOO FAIR / 11 May Tattoo enthusiasts won’t have to sit at home between 11 and 12 May: this tattoo convention will be accompanied by a beer festival, concerts, discussions and various other programmes. GIORGIO MORODER / 15 May, PAPP LÁSZLÓ BUDAPEST SPORTARÉNA Giorgio Moroder is often referred to as the “Father of Disco” and credited with pioneering electronic dance music. The music producer and winner of several Academy Awards and Grammy Awards included Budapest in his first European tour in 2019. This spectacular production by the legendary performer will be on the stage at Papp László Budapest Sports Arena on 15 May. ART CINEMA NIGHT / 17 May 5 art cinemas, 14 rooms, 1 event in the capital. On 17 May, you can watch an unlimited number of films, being screened continuously from 6 pm to 6 am, with just a single ticket. In addition to the biggest art cinema hits from previous months, you can also see pre-premier screenings. MUSE / 28 May, PAPP LÁSZLÓ BUDAPEST SPORTARÉNA Muse arrives in Budapest with their new world tour, Simulation Theory.
