The oldest bridge of Budapest is the Chain Bridge, it was inaugurated in 1849. Since there was no Hungarian architect who could have designed it, a British and a Scottich engineer – William Tierney Clark and Adam Clark, respectively – came to design it (the two Clarks were not related). The Chain Bridge has a twin bridge in the UK, the Marlow Bridge.
