description The museum’s collection mainly preserves the memory of the creative years in Szentendre, but the growing stock allowed the permanent exhibition to present the entire creative life of Béla Czóbel in chronological order, from the academic beginning through the plein air in Nagybánya to the modern painting trends. Moreover, periodically one genre (eg nude paintings) and one period are displayed separately in the framework of an exhibition, the careful analysis and cataloging of the stock lies behind this. The collection has grown through donations and purchases, and now contains more than four hundred paintings and 1,200 prints, as well as 347 works by his wife, Mária Modok (1896-1971). photo gallery 1/6 × location additional info open hours Monday closed Tuesday closed Wednesday closed Thursday 10:00 - 18:00 Friday 10:00 - 18:00 Saturday 10:00 - 18:00 Sunday 10:00 - 18:00 contact https://www.facebook.com/czobelmuzeum/ Save Share share on: Google+FacebookTwitter copy on: Get directions
