The perfect programs for a rainy day in Budapest

To have a good experience and fulfil the expectations during the holidays is one of the most important things that someone is looking forward to but sometimes the weather may cross our plans. However, if it rains all day in Budapest the bad weather should not stop you to spend a great time in this magnificent city.

You may start your day and warm up in one of the famous icons of the Hungarian capital, the Széchenyi Bath located in the City Park. This spa, built between 1909 and 1913 in Neo-Baroque and Neo-Renaissance styles, is considered the most beautiful and complex in Europe. It provides hot-spring water with calcium, magnesium and other minerals and is perfect for therapeutic treatments and diet (the water is drinkable). Besides the benefits of the water, you can jump from one pool to the other, enjoy the saunas and steam rooms. It has three outdoor pools, one of them is for swimming (50 meters log) and the other two are for leisure. The baths has more than 11 indoor pools and it provides different facilities and services such as massage, aqua fitness, tours, restaurant-buffet and bathing suit rental. It is open from 9am until 7pm.
