The RegenTag Workshop Gallery is a free-spirited community space and exhibition space.

Our workshop can also be rented for workshops and events. Those who come to Regentag also have the opportunity to create their own work or take part in guided classes. We want to reflect the diversity that characterizes Szentendre’s art. That is why we strive for as many creators and artists as possible to hold workshops and exhibitions in our workshop. Our vision is related to our name in two ways: on the one hand, it is a reference to Friedensreich Hundertwasser, whose ship was so named.

Hundertwasser is our common favorite in terms of both his visual art and his activism. To us, the message is that art is free, the branches of art can be mixed, and everyone can be creative. However, the name Regentag is also literal, as it means a rainy day; an occasion when time “stops” outside and we can dedicate ourselves in peace, in depth, to creation.
